IA SYSTEMS EARNS EXPERIAN “FAST START” CERTIFICATION
IA Systems certified for Fast Start with Experian, Equifax and Trans Union data

Albany, NY, August 2002 - IA Systems, a leading provider of electronic lending solutions for the financial services industry, announced its completion of the Experian Fast Start certification program. IA System’s successful completion of the Fast Start Certification program allows users requesting credit reports from any of the three major credit-reporting agencies to use this data to increase profits, decrease risk, and improve the overall success of their business. Institutions using IA Systems’ StreamLendTM loan origination software can now use StreamLend’s powerful workflow, risk-based pricing, and decision engines to instantaneously provide loan decisions using data from the Fast Start scoring system. Experian is a global information solutions company.

“The combination of StreamLendTM and Fast Start offers our clients a unique competitive advantage,” said Deborah Ryan, CEO, IA Systems, “Embedding the Fast Start score card into StreamLendTM delivers fast and accurate loan decisions, helping credit unions and banks save time and money.”

StreamLendTM is an end-to-end loan origination system designed by IA Systems that enables lending institutions to standardize the loan origination process. StreamLend’s unique combination of imaging, workflow, decisioning, and electronic signature capabilities lets institutions process loan requests quickly and easily, while avoiding the cost and inefficiencies of a traditional paperbased lending model. By adding an industry-specific scorecard that can analyze credit information from all three major credit-reporting agencies, StreamLendTM becomes an even more effective tool for staying ahead in the competitive financial services market.

“Fast Start is a proven solution that provides our clients with a solid decisioning tool that is not only simple to maintain, but also includes a comprehensive consulting service to help clients optimize the use of the Fast Start model for their specific needs,” said Martin O’Connor, Vice President of Scoring and Analytics, Experian. IA Systems is an affiliate of Securian Financial Group (SFN) and Minnesota Life Insurance Company.
