IA Systems, Inc. Names Penny Perkins as Marketing Manager

(Albany, NY) July 27, 2004  IA Systems, Inc.--a leading maker of software for the financial services industry--is pleased to announce the addition of Penny Perkins to the Sales and Marketing Department. As Marketing Manager, Perkins will be responsible for the positioning, branding, and marketing of IA Systems’ automated lending systems, particularly its flagship product StreamLend.

Perkins was most recently the Director of Sales and Marketing for Bubar Music, Inc., a music and publishing company in Delmar, which holds a patent for teaching the piano by ear. Prior to serving as Promotions Producer for WNYT-TV NewsChannel 13, Perkins owned and operated Alpha Omega Media Services for ten years, a communications company that worked with a wide variety of clients and accounts, from education to technology, from nonprofits to Fortune 500 companies.

Her experience spans corporate communications, multimedia, PR, journalism and feature writing, marketing and sales, technical writing, and broadcast TV producing.

Perkins earned a B.A. with honors from Trinity College in Hartford, CT and an M.A. in English from the University at Albany. She is active in various community organizations and recently served as the president of Upstate Independents, the regional networking nonprofit for independent media artists.
