16 years of streamlining business processes
Since
1991, IA Systems has developed technology to streamline business operations and
automate workflow processes for credit unions, banks and other financial
institutions.
First to market with an integrated and completely
paperless loan origination system
In
1997, IA Systems introduced its first loan origination software, StreamLend®. At the time, StreamLend was the first loan origination software to fully
integrate imaging for paperless lending, workflow and loan decision support
into a single-system solution.
Financial security & Securian
In
2000, IA Systems was purchased by St. Paul, Minn.-based Securian
Financial Group, Inc., a privately-held organization with more than $26
billion in assets, and one of the nation's largest independent distributors
or credit life and credit disability insurance, debt protection and other
related services.
Growth & strategic Alliance
With
backing from its parent company, IA Systems began developing new products and
strategically pursued alliances with industry leaders to help advance its commitment
to providing innovative solutions to financial institutions.
Continued Growth
In
2007, Open Solutions Inc.® saw
an opportunity for growth and acquired IA Systems. The acquisition enhances
Open Solutions' position as a technology leader by complementing its existing
loan origination software. IA clients will benefit by having full access to
Open Solutions' growing technology offerings and services.

Next- Generation Lending: StreamLend
Velocity
IA
Systems continues to leverage its years of experience and knowledge, as well
as client input, to advance the lending process. With the advent of StreamLend
Velocity, our flagship product, IA Systems has
created a brand-new loan origination system for consumer, home equity and indirect
lending, designed to captivate and capture a new generation of lenders and
borrowers.
StreamLend Velocity uses powerful and flexible next-generation
tools to simplify, automate and accelerate the lending process, including: an
intuitive browser-cased interface, configurable workflow, a customizable
dashboard opening-page, expansive sales channel integration, built-in optical
imaging technology for paperless lending - including digital signatures and
e-signatures, and seamless integration with all the major core processors and
third-party industry leaders.
With
these tools and others, StreamLend Velocity
automates workflow, speeds credit and loan decisioning,
integrates sales channels and manages risk for financial institutions, while
decreasing operational costs and increasing loan processing efficiencies.
Recognition for products & services
Over
the past several years, IA Systems has received recognition for its
innovative product and business development from groups such as the Capital Region Center for Economic Growth,
the TechConnex software alliance, and the
Rensselaer Polytechnic Institute. In 2003, IA Systems received the “Tech Valley Tomorrow” award from the Small
Business Council of the Albany-Colonie Regional
Chamber of Commerce.

Systems is headquartered in Albany, NY, the heart of New York’s Tech Valley.
In
2002, IA acquired a 20,000 sq. ft., modern facility at 500 New Karner Road in Albany. Recently, IA
expanded at that facility to accommodate the growth in employees, particularly
software developers, needed for new product development made possible by
recent investments and revenue growth.
Today,
we continue to grow by all measures: staff size, client base, sales and
revenue, number of strategic alliances, and number of third-party interfaces
