David Van Pelt

As Chief Technology Officer at IA Systems, David Van Pelt guides the company through transitions
to new technologies by providing strong technical vision and business
leadership. These strengths have been most useful in developing innovative, next-generation products,
particularly the development of IA Systems’ major new product—the next generation
of the StreamLend® Loan
Origination System—which is scheduled for general release in the first
quarter of 2006.
Mr. Van Pelt has been with IA Systems since 1999, when he
joined as Director of Client Services, and was promoted to CTO & VP in 2002. In Mr. Van Pelt’s
previous role as Director of Client Services, he was responsible for
implementation, consulting, and support services.
Mr. Van Pelt has more than 15 years of professional technology experience,
with 10 years in management. Prior to his positions with IA Systems, he was
the Director of Quality Assurance at CommSoft, Inc., a software development company for the
telecommunications industry.
Mr. Van Pelt has worked extensively in software development and technology
consulting, focusing on the creation and improvement of processes and
organizational structures to gain efficiencies and to improve customer
satisfaction. Working with companies such as Coopers & Lybrand and
GTECH Corporation, he brought leadership, vision, and execution to his
organizations.
Mr. Van Pelt graduated from the State University of New York at Geneseo in 1990 with a Bachelor of Science
in Finance and a concentration in Management Information Systems. He is on
the board of the local Cystic Fibrosis Foundation and he is active in a
variety of other community service organizations. He is also a graduate of
the 2004
Capital Leadership program for
business and community leaders of Tech Valley.
