Manager IA Systems Group
As General Manager of IA Systems, Chris Cazer oversees day-to-day company functions, and guides
company strategy and vision.
Cazer joined IA
Systems in 2004. Prior to being named president, he was Chief Operating
Officer and oversaw 75 percent of the company, including product
development and delivery, product management, consulting, and client
satisfaction and support, as well as the planning and production of the annual client conference. He
began his career at the company as Vice President of Client Services, where
his leadership skills ensured that all clients of IA Systems receive “best
of breed” service for their StreamLend and StreamLend Velocity
automated lending systems by providing leadership and direction to a large
team of professional client services support staff.
Mr. Cazer has two decades of software development and deployment expertise
at the management level. Before joining IA Systems Inc., he served as
Senior Vice President of Engineering and Chief Technology Officer of
Excelergy, a start-up technology company outside of Boston. Excelergy
develops enterprise software products for billing and customer care,
commodity trading, and financial markets. Mr. Cazer was responsible for
product engineering, product strategy, client delivery, customer support,
and technical sales support. During his tenure, revenue grew from $0 to $18
million annually.
Mr. Cazer honed his expertise in information technology during a
distinguished 12-year career at Fidelity Investments in Boston. At this
Fortune 500 Company, representing more than $350 billion in assets, he held
several Vice President positions of increasing responsibility, including VP
of Retail Customer and Account Systems, VP of Strategic Development, and VP
of Fund Accounting Technologies. Prior to his career at Fidelity, Mr. Cazer
was a Programmer/Analyst with Advanced Information Management in Boston,
where he worked on product development for a financial system to process
mutual funds.
Mr. Cazer graduated cum laude from Northeastern University with a B.S. in
Computer Science and Accounting. He is a frequent speaker on advanced
technology and has two patents pending on XML solutions.
